Your Quoted Per Visit Rate applies EVERY TIME an agent makes a visit to your property. We charge per visit and NOT per week or per mole.
➢ Our goal is to trap all your moles as quickly possible. Please understand that this is a process and it’s highly unlikely that we will catch all your moles in the first week. Keep in mind that while most moles will be trapped easily, there will be those that are difficult to trap. We average 3-5 visits. Moles move around therefore we do not need to put traps in every tunnel or at every pile of dirt. Our experienced agent will set traps in the areas that they feel are the best opportunity for captures. We try to make quality sets instead of quantity sets. We do not lock you into a contract so you may ask us to stop service at any time you wish.
➢ Once the traps are set, we will check them weekly (not necessarily the same day every week) until we feel all moles have been trapped and the agent sees no new activity. Please do not flatten any new tunnels unless we request that you do so. New tunnels are evidence that we will use to determine where to set traps on the next visit. Don’t be surprised if once we set traps that the moles disappear or move to an entirely different area.
➢ We place flags next to every trap. These flags are there to make the trap visible to everyone, especially you or your lawn service. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THESE FLAGS. Traps that are flat are set and traps that are standing tall are ones that have been triggered. You may experience traps that trigger without anything touching them or no mole in a triggered trap. Sometimes moles sense a hazard and deliberately push dirt into a trap with the intent of triggering it. These reasons are why we check them weekly and may report 2 moles when you had 5 traps triggered.
➢ Please advise your lawncare professionals to look out for flags as to avoid accidentally mowing over them. Even though our traps pose no danger to your children and pets, make sure your children stay clear of the traps to avoid any unnecessary risk. Please advise us of any pets that may cause a risk to a Moleliminator associate.
➢ A mole report will be sent to your email address after each visit to keep you up to date on our progress. For liability reasons please DO NOT move or reset any traps. We also need to know where the moles have been trapped so we can plan on how to proceed, so DO NOT remove any moles from traps. If any of our traps disappear or are damaged by vehicles and lawn mowers, you may be charged $40 for each missing or damaged trap. We are proven to offer the lowest prices around for the best service, and we are not here to take advantage of you. We greatly appreciate the same courtesy from our customers. We implement these policies as a courtesy to our customers and hope that you are as honest with us as we will be with you.
➢ Once service has been stopped, we have no control over if or when neighboring moles may show up in your lawn.
➢ It may take a few sessions to get a good handle on your mole problem but be assured that every decision we make will be in your best interest.
❖ VISIT: Every time an agent visits your address which includes the setting of traps, checking traps, and when we pick up traps to stop service.
❖ SESSION: A group of visits from when traps are set, checked, and removed from your lawn.
➢ For Events or Major Lawn Care Work- We ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you are having an event and/or work done which would involve traps being removed during a session. This will help prevent unnecessary charges to you.
➢ For our customers with larger yards or acreage- If you initially ask for a smaller portion of your yard to be trapped and then decide for us to branch out into a larger area, you will be charged $5 for each additional half acre per visit. We will never make the decision to expand outside of your requested area to be trapped without your permission.
**WE DO NOT NOTIFY YOU OF OUR PENDING ARRIVAL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED**
We will send an invoice to your email at the end of your service session. You will then have the option to securely pay by credit card online by the push of a button. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Returned checks will incur a fee of $25 plus bank charges. Invoices not paid by the end of 3 months will incur a $25 late fee per month until paid. If not paid by the end of 6 months, we will pursue collection through a third party.

As we have grown over the years, we've implemented a complex software system where we keep you up to date on how your session is going especially if you're not home at the time of our visit. A Mole Report will be filled out by an agent and then sent to you via email after each visit. If you do not have an email, please call the office or speak to agent for any updates. We will also mail Mole Reports with your invoice when we have stopped service.
